Commitment to Data Security.
Keeping personal information secure is a top priority. To prevent unauthorized access and to maintain data accuracy, we have implemented administrative, technical and physical safeguards to secure information we collect.
To ensure a secure connection whenever transmitting or receiving personal information, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, a technology that systematically scrambles numbers and letters. The SSL automatically encrypts all information, before it is transmitted over the Internet, in a format that only the sending and receiving computers can decode. SSL ensures that information is protected from others. In order to proceed securely through the purchase process using this encryption technology, you need to have an Internet browser that supports 128-bit encryption. A secure connection is maintained until the checkout process is either completed or canceled. We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards that comply with legal standards to protect your personal information. We strive to comply with all applicable national laws and regional requirements. We also self-regulate the collection and use of personal information.
Check Out Security
Security with regards to personal and payment information is provided by Shopify, whose platform we are using. Shopify provides SSL security for all checkout pages for customer security.
We therefore cannot use our own SSL certificate for this purpose. This may cause a browser to report an error. No sensitive information is transferred between the browser and our servers until checkout. The checkout either takes place on Shopify's secure servers at https://checkout.shopify.com or on a 3rd party secured page such as Paypal.com.
We do not store credit card numbers or banking information of any kind electronically or in any other way. We do refuse all requests to store credit card numbers or banking information of any kind.
Also we do not have access to credit card numbers entered as all transactions are securely processed by our federally licensed payment gateway providers.
